What does Valentines mean to me?

Whatever the case, Valentine’s Day is a day that you either love or you hate. For those of us who have a special someone, it can be a day that is filled with gestures of love and kindness. If you have kids, chances are, they are in on the Valentine’s Day pomp and circumstance as well, letting you be creative and spend quality time with them making arts and crafts. But if you are alone and bitter,  well it could mean HELL for you or not probably.

But what does Valentine’s Day really mean to you?

For me,  to show my family who I really care about how I love them so much. It’s the time where me and my friends bond and fooling around coming up with ideas for us to show one another how we feel about each other while having a good time. It’s not about presents, money, or an expensive dinner—-it’s the thought that I have some pretty special people in my life and I am pretty darned lucky to have them!

There are some people out there who cannot stand Valentine’s Day and its whole existence. The thought of it makes them loathe it or is it just my imagination. But for me, I know love, so I want to show love to everyone who is in my life. Valentine’s Day is a great time to do that. It may not be a girlfriend or a boyfriend but it can also be your friends and families.

What does Valentine’s Day mean to you? Is it a drag, or is it something that you look forward to? Is it the romance in the air? The flowers, the chocolate, or Cupid’s arrow? Is it the red hearts that cover every gift shop and every market? Or is it simply because it is a holiday that is all about L-O-V-E
